Actor Ashoka Thackur who recently shot a music video alongside Donal Bisht is quite sentimental about his father.
He says, "My father was a farmer and was very cool and sweet. He was never strict towards me and never burdened me or forced me for anything. He passed away 6 years ago. He never interfered in my life and he just said- " jo karna hai dil se karo, lekin karo". He never calculated things as he said, " If you calculate in your life then you would not be able to do anything". Such learnings from him, always gave me the strength to keep moving forward. Today also, I don't think and calculate much doing a thing, because I know that if I am right and taking the right track then the outcome will be good. His learnings always gave me strength. He always said- ''apne hakque ke liye ladna, aur jis kaam me utro vaha puri jaan laga do". I had never seen him worrying about as his will power was very strong. I also follow the same thing and never give up", says the actor who did a short film titled Character
He further adds, "When I had started doing theatre, I faced many ups and downs, but I never gave up. My father is my inspiration and I am grateful to him as he gave me the right values. I always follow it, as it is nice to be important but more important to be nice".
