Actor Karan Deol has been quite vocal and has opened up majorly after his last film Velle. The film that hit the theatres had received a good response from the viewers. The same was released on the OTT platform and now is all set to premiere on the national channel.
Karan who is gearing up for his upcoming film Apne 2 get’s candid about his inspiration in an exclusive interview for a publication. He shares, “My dad's Sunny Deol training regimen was always very intense. He would wake up at 5.30 am and exercise. If he had a long day of shooting, he'd come home and train before hitting the bed. He did it because it helped the body stay active, and the mind, sharp.”
He further adds, “ tried to and learn karate, but the process would leave me exhausted in school, so I could only sustain it for a while. However, I took to sports in school. When I was younger, I would tell him that I wanted to lift weights which were as heavy as he did. Today, if I don't wake up in the morning and exercise for three hours, I feel like my day won't be good. I'm learning boxing
for Apne 2 because my character is a boxer. In the process, I started to enjoy boxing and find the drills exciting.”
Well, it’s Father’s day this week and we surely would conclude that this duo of father and son has to be one of the best in B- Town!
