The news of Deepak Nirula, founder of the popular ice cream and fast food chain Nirula’s passing away has brought back memories of actor Ishaan Singh Manhas visiting the joint. The actor says that the visits to the restaurant formed an integral part of his childhood.
“Nirula’s was the first fast food restaurant my family and I visited so often. I was a kid those days and have memories of the Hot Chocolate Fudge and Banana Boat Sundae. We all used to gorge on the yummy pizzas at Nirula’s, which I remember was the first time we all tasted a pizza. There were branches in Delhi and Noida and we all used to visit Nirula’s at least once a week,” he says.
In fact, he can’t wait to go again! “It's been some time since I have been to Nirula’s but now that I am talking about it I feel like visiting it again to relive my childhood memories,” says Ishaan
