Hansa Singh travelled Goa solo to unwind: It was so beautiful to be amidst nature— no work, no agenda, no calls

Goa is Hansa Singh’s all time favourite holiday destination. The actor often jets off to the state, whenever she has some free time. Recently, she enjoyed a fun vacation there yet again and has come back happy and rejuvenated.

“Goa is my favourite place to go whenever I need sun, sand, sea breeze and tranquillity. I go there many times for vacation, birthdays or events. But this time it has been a solo trip to disconnect and heal. My work as tarot reader and astro healer takes a beating after the continuous process of healing others, so I needed a break. Plus hectic routine as an actress, travels were also like work. Sigh. I Needed this break to unwind badly. So I just booked, packed and flew to my perfect vacay in solitude,” she smiles.

She stayed there for a week. “It was so beautiful to be amidst nature— no work, no agenda, no calls,” she adds.

About the things she has done in Goa, Hansa shares, “I have so many friends, acquaintances in Goa. But as if the universe knew what I wanted. So, I didn’t not meet anyone this time except one when I went shopping. It was just life at my pace in my space. I'm not a person who dares to bare in the scorching sun. So I just did parasailing, as I love to fly. And all other times were soothing massages and lazing by the beach.”

When asked about the best memory from the vacation, Hansa was quick to add, “Like really? Come on, what happens in Goa stays in Goa (laughs).”

Travelling means opening your mind, says Hansa. “One should travel as much as possible. Learn different cultures and meet different people. Solo travelling is beautiful. I love meeting different people. If you travel with friends, we end up having the same conversations. So how do you break the cycle? By travelling solo, meeting, learning and evolving. I was surprised that in today’s time also people were like, ‘Are you serious - you going alone to Goa? Staying at happening places, and partying?’ But I was like Goa caters to all what one wants. My desire was to disconnect and heal. So it was all sorted with the best to rest and rejuvenate,” she signs off
